2013 SWIA HB1079 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS!

In 2013, SWIA fund raised approximately $2,700 for SWIA HB1079 Scholarship!

Scholarships were awarded to 2 students at Highline Community College.

One student is studying Biology at Highline CC and is in the process of applying to transfer to the UW or Seattle U.

Another student is also studying at Highline, and working on completing her AA transfer degree.

Both students are in good standing and progressing towards their goals.

SWIA would like to thank individuals, organizations, businesses, and Seattle Education Access for their support!

This year, SWIA set a goal to raise at least $3,000 and is currently planning on the next Tamale Bake Sale!
Thank you all again for the support!
Best,
S.W.I.A.
